Local Coupon Policies

Frick's Market: Union and Sullivan
They will accept manufacturer's coupons from newspapers and ads only.  They will NOT accept internet "print-at-home" coupons.

Country Mart: St. Clair
They will accept all manufacturer's coupons from newspapers, ads, and the internet.  They double coupons on Tuesdays up to $0.49.

Finks: Union
They will accept all manufacturer's coupons from newspapers, ads, and the internet.  They are sometimes funny about the number of coupons you can redeem there, especially if you are getting an item for free or nearly free.

Save-A-Lot: St. Clair
They will accept all manufacturer's coupons from newspapers, ads, and the internet.  I have not actually shopped here.

Schnucks: Washington
They will accept all manufacturer's coupons from newspapers, ads, and the internet.  They double coupons up to $0.50, but limit 15 doubled coupons per transaction.  You can work around this by doing multiple transactions, but I recommend doing your smallest transaction(s) first and working your way up.  They also offer "Catalina" coupons that print at checkout.  You can see some of these at http://www.couponnetwork.com/ (must register).  I always check out http://couponstl.blogspot.com/ for weekly deals.

Walgreens: Union, Washington
They will accept all manufacturer's coupons from newspapers, ads, and the internet. You can pair one manufacturer's coupon with one or more Walgreens coupons for each product.  They can sometimes be funny about letting you use more than one Walgreens coupon per item, but their corporate coupon policy clearly states you can.  I suggest asking to talk to a manager or having a copy of their coupon policy with you.  Also, Walgreens in Union is sometimes funny about taking internet coupons, but I've never had them reject a coupon.  You can print Walgreens coupons from their website http://www.walgreens.com/ or get them in-store.  They also offer "Catalina" coupons that print at checkout.  You can see some of these at http://www.couponnetwork.com/ (must register).  For more information, great deals, and sneak peeks of ads (sometimes a month in advance!), visit http://www.iheartwags.com/.

Target: Washington
They will accept all manufacturer's coupons from newspapers, ads, and the internet. You can pair one manufacturer's coupon with one Target coupon for each product.  You can print Target coupons from http://coupons.target.com/.  They also offer "Catalina" coupons that print at checkout.  You can see some of these at http://www.couponnetwork.com/ (must register). For more information and great deals, visit http://www.totallytarget.com/.

Petco: Washington
They will accept all manufacturer's coupons.  Since they are just opening this weekend (10/13), I haven't actually shopped there to know if they take internet coupons.  They have a loyalty club called "PetPals" that you can join for more coupons.

Aldi: Washington
Does not accept coupons.  Make sure that you take a quarter with you so that you can get a cart.  Aldi has some great deals on produce and low prices on many other items as well.  I always check out http://couponstl.blogspot.com/ for weekly deals.

Big Lots: Washington
Does not accept coupons.  You can join their loyalty club for free and earn 20% off coupons as well as get emails when they are hosting 20% friends and family events.  I get really cheap baby food here ($0.30-$0.50 a jar - even stage 3!)

Wal-Mart: Union, Washington
I hate to even mention them, but they do accept all types of coupons, and they will price match any ad's sale price.  I usually score better deals at other stores.  You can see some of their coupon match-ups on http://www.couponmom.com/ (must register).
